Did you know that students LOVE to see their parents in the classroom? Come and volunteer! It's a great way to see your child in the classroom setting and get to know our class. You are welcome to come in once a week, once a month or even once a year! 

Volunteering can be rewarding for you, as well as exciting and beneficial for your child. Students thrive when educators and parent volunteers form a partnership. My goal is for our classroom to feel like a family.

Here are some ways to be a part of your child's second grade year:

 Hallway Helper: Math - Reading - Red Word groups 

 Chaperone: Field trip assistant

 Class Hands: Help with activities in the classroom

 Home Helper: Parents work on activities at home (cut/staple)

 Party Planner: Plan class parties and celebrations

 Bulletin Board Helper: Hang student work up in the hallway

 Mystery Reader: Send in 3 clues about you and surprise us with a book!
