What do I do when I come
to a word that I don't know?
1. Look at the picture. Think about the story.
2. Go back.
3. Get your mouth ready. Point and slide your finger under the word.
4. Read to the end of the sentence.
5. Try a word.
Does it make sense? Sound like language? Do the letters match?
6. Go on.
