Welcome Parents and Students!  This is going to be a fantastic school year!  We are fortunate to be able to enjoy a renovated classroom complete with new floors, a large flat screen television, and an Interactive Board.  In addition to those classroom additions, we also have a wonderful student teacher, Mr. Hazen, here with us through December.  Jeff Hazen comes to us from Eastern Michigan University.  He may be a familiar face to some of you as he was a frequent substitute as Scranton for the past two years.     

Dear Students and Parents,

My goal is to foster a classroom environment that will help students:

• Build a solid understanding of scientific principles.
• Develop an inquiry approach to learning.
• Develop thinking skills and apply them to real-life problems.
• Understand how science is related to all other disciplines.
