CLASSROOM NORMS

Our time spent in the classroom is extremely valuable. The following plan outlines our classroom norms (compiled by our students) to support our learning together.

Norms:  1. Respect yourself, others, and property.

2. Be kind to all.

3. Listen when others talk.

4. Be responsible and prepared

5. Everyone participates.

To encourage students to follow these norms, we will recognize appropriate behavior with praise, notes home, and positive phone calls home. However, if a student chooses to not follow a norm during class time, the following steps will be taken:

Consequences:

First time: Warning

Second:Stay after class 2 minutes

Third:Contact home

Fourth:Detention

Fifth:Refer to Office
