This is one of the most important components to our day.
This is our class' change to share amazing literature, ideas, stories, and share experiences that these bring about.
We also learn how to talk, be active listeners, sharers, and respect the ideas and differences that we all bring to our classroom community.
One story that embraces this idea is:
What Do You Do With An IDEA? by Kobi Yamada
If you ever get a chance to read that story, really think about it, and imagine your child sitting at carpet being inspired by that story, you too will realize why this is the most magical time of our classroom day.
