Celebrating Mystery Pieces

  • Mystery Writing Celebration

    Students will be honoring the completion of their Mystery Writing Unit by reading to another classroom.  
    Students have been assigned to classrooms willing to host a Mystery Author.
    Students will need to introduce themselves to the host teacher and then introduce themselves to the audience and explain that they will be reading their finished Mystery Story.

    The host teacher is given the opportunity to fill out a "rubric" of sorts and offer comments, though they may chose not to fill these out as well.

    Below you will find the rubric the host teacher may fill out.
    You will also find the rubric that will be used by the classroom teacher to assess the quality of the mystery story that is being turned in as their final piece.
