Health Advisory Board

Brighton Area Schools Health Advisory Board has representatives from the following groups: parents of children in the district, staff/educators, healthcare professionals, and students. The committee meets to review submitted materials and makes recommendations to the Board of Education regarding the health curriculum. The board works in accordance with Michigan legal guidelines and to follow best practices in health education while maintaining compliance with state laws and local community priorities.
