May 10, 2021 email:
Parents and Potential Graduates,
While final preparations are still being made for our Bridge Graduation Ceremony, here are the latest updates:
The final day of school for graduates IF all work is complete and turned in is Friday, May 28. If your student has not completed their requirements they will be expected to attend until these are done. The final day of school for the 2020/2021 school year is Friday, June 11th with dismissal at 11:20am.
Our Graduation Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, June 8th in the Brighton Center for the Performing Arts (BCPA) located at Brighton High School, from 6:00pm-7:00pm. There is no charge for admittance, and no tickets are required. Please note the following:
- Graduates will need to arrive at 4:00pm for a dress rehearsal and photographs. Only graduates will be allowed to enter the BCPA at this time. Students should arrange their work schedules to avoid conflicts.
- Doors will open for guests of graduates at 5:40pm (20 minutes before the start of the ceremony). Guests will be required to enter and go directly to their seats – no loitering in the Lobby allowed due to Covid-19 social distancing guidelines. Please observe social distancing requirements once in the BCPA and while choosing your seats.
At this time we are requesting that you respond to this email with the number of guests your potential graduate will be expecting. As soon as we have a more concrete number we will be able to determine if we need to limit the number of guests per family, as we need to comply with the Covid-19 capacity requirements of the BCPA. We will keep you updated as plans become finalized and if the capacity requirements change. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
